Dr. Karlovsky is board certified in Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Karlovsky is the Director of Urology and Urogynecology as well as the Chairman of Surgery at Wickenburg Community Hospital. He operates a full-service urology and urogynecology practice with concentrations in all types of bladder disorders in women and men, neuro-urological diseases, and genitourinary implants. He has been in practice in metro Phoenix since 2005.
Dr. Karlovsky serves as a faculty physician at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix and has proctored pelvic anatomy for first year medical students. He is an active peer reviewer for multiple prestigious publications, including Urogynecology, Neurourology & Urodynamics, and the International Urogynecology Journal. He is on the Continuing Medical Education Committee and Board Exam Question Writing Group for the American Urogynecologic Society, and was a contributor to the 2024 update of the American Urological Association’s Guideline on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Overactive Bladder.
Dr. Karlovsky has authored peer-reviewed articles for publication featured in such journals as Urology, Current Urology Reports and AUANews, and published a book in 2012 entitled Female Urinary Incontinence. He authored a book chapter on bladder rehabilitation after stroke and brain injury and has offered many live presentations at meetings ranging from the American Urological Association, Western Section American Urological Association, and the American Urogynecologic Society.
