Dr. Karlovsky is board certified in Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He is the Director of Female Pelvic Health at Arizona Urology Specialists. He operates a full-service urology and urogynecology practice with concentrations in all types of bladder disorders in women and men, neuro-urological diseases, and genitourinary implants. He has been in practice in the East Valley since 2005.
Dr. Karlovsky has authored peer-reviewed articles for publication, featured in such journals as Urology, Current Urology Reports and AUANews, and published a book in 2012 entitled Female Urinary Incontinence. He has written a book chapter on bladder rehabilitation after stroke and brain injury and offered many live presentations at meetings ranging from the American Urological Association, Western Section American Urological Association, and the American Urogynecologic Society.
Dr. Karlovsky serves as a faculty physician at the University of Arizona College of Medicine proctoring pelvic anatomy for first year medical students. He has offered live presentations and webinars on malpractice prevention, case reviews on vaginal mesh surgeries, and worked as a peer reviewer for multiple prestigious publications, including Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and the International Urogynecology Journal.
Dr. Karlovsky is a member of Arizona Urology Specialists.
